Organized by Northeastern University’s Center for Family Business and the Family Firm Institute, the Massachusetts Family Business Awards honors successful, charitable businesses from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts that involve multiple generations of family leadership.Founded in 1963 as a one-man plumbing shop, J.C. Cannistraro, LLC has grown into a 400- employee firm. In two generations of family ownership, J.C. Cannistraro, LLC has served as a corporate home for seven of the eight Cannistraro children, each of whom has worked their way into company leadership.
