Green Building Education Stressed at J.C. Cannistraro, LLC

14-Apr-2009 J.C. Cannistraro, LLC took another step towards achieving its goal of building a more sustainable Boston. The Watertown-based mechanical construction firm is proud to announce that Kourtney Thomas has entered the ranks of LEED Accredited Professionals.

As an Assistant Project Manager for J.C Cannistraro, LLC, Ms. Thomas now contributes added knowledge to the project team that will help reach the project’s energy efficiency goals. J.C. Cannistraro, LLC encourages training and education for its entire staff, particularly in the fields of green building and sustainable construction. In 2008, the company provided the official USGBC LEED for New Construction training for up to sixty of its employees. The company extends its congratulations to Assistant Project Manager Kourtney Thomas for leveraging her training to achieve such a distinguished honor.
