| Customized deluge systems were the solution for this specific National Grid location. Specially designed and installed fire protection infrastructure included a 150,000-gallon water tank, a diesel powered, 300-horsepower fire pump, a fire pump house, a valve room and 2,000 feet of underground utilities. Fifteen (15) deluge sprinkler systems were also installed to service six (6) large 345 KVA converter transformers. |
