Cannistraro Expands HVAC Pre-fabrication Facilities

26-Mar-2009 J.C. Cannistraro, LLC has expanded its pre-fabrication capabilities to include a new 20,000 square foot HVAC fabrication facility. Pre-fabricated piping sections are achieved utilizing overhead bridge cranes that allow for easier movement of materials. The building features an environment-friendly, welding fume extraction and recirculation air system for eight automatic welding stations. A plasma cutter, an automatic pipe beveling machine and automatic pipe positioners are also used to ensure that all pipe is cut and welded with the utmost precision.

The company’s new pre-fabrication facility augments its capacity to build and deliver large-scale mechanical systems. The Cannistraro HVAC team is currently pre-fabricating and installing the mechanical infrastructure for Mass. General Hospital’s Building for the Third Century.
